Cricket’s
House
Cricket’s House provides shelter services for infants
and toddlers, the youngest of the neglected, abused and at
risk children. At
Cricket’s House, the children receive food, clothing,
reassurance, stability and affection. The Children’s
Crisis Center operates the program within Cricket’s
House. This program represents the most comprehensive child
Abuse Prevention Program currently serving the community.
It focuses on prevention, intervention and crisis counseling
through the following resources: Respite Childcare Program,
Family Nurturing Program, FamilyLINE and Family Advocacy
Program.
Because
of the generous donations of organizations and individuals,
and the hard work of the Christopher P. Walker Foundation
Board of Directors and the Children’s Crisis Center,
we are able to provide children with a safe and secure home-like
environment at Cricket’s House. All proceeds go directly
to Cricket’s House as the Foundation is run
entirely on a volunteer basis.
